This service sucks ***

I cannot actually speak to real person, someone that I can describe my issue to without buying some dumb membership that if I did would permit me the luxury of human contact, someone who may emit understanding and empathy through the sound of their voice and allow me to be heard like a human being and perhaps help me in a way that a bot could not. You cant even submit a review to them unless you buy a membership. Why would I want to do business with them?!

User's recommendation: Go to a mom and pop shop on your own and cut Angi’s out of the middle. You’ll have better luck being able to speak to a human.

Log in issues

Put our pro account under employee email, that employee is no longer with company. No longer able to use business account. Desperately need help recovering information to log in and get it back up & running. Also you need a number to speak to someone, all your numbers are automated help

I'm a thumbtack pro and in desperation I came to this consumer but I am I'm a customer as well as a pro and I'm not getting any resolved for several issues that I've had and I worked hard I have worke

My complaint is that I feel like I have not been listened to I have not been respected and people have played games with me that are customer service reps that don't know what they're talking about and they don't give me an opportunity to even explain them so in desperation I came to this site. Value and treat pros with respect free now people is respect

User's recommendation: Listen to pros like you listen to customers because pros are your customers as well and you're not doing what you need to do when you don't value the pro is what I'm getting.

Incorrect charged

Member since 2020 and have never had martial arts in my profile !!! I get charged as a match for someone wanting mma martial arts?? WTF this isnt the first time something like this has happened. Also had a match with an white supremacy member. Should have gone to media about it. But have thumbtack a pass

I think that this company actually even has a customer service line, every time I call it , it says that they are training their customer service wraps but I never actually get to talk to anyone. Very poor customer service.

Urgent fraud issue

You cannot get customer support. They allow fraudulent companies on their site. I had $850 stolen from me by using Thumbtack. Stay very far away from this service. Don't trust don't trust any business on Thumbtack

Wrongful billing, deactivated my account but still getting messages.

Thumbtack charged me for a lead I never responded to or accepted. I have deleted my account since calling the customer service number only to get a message stating everyone is in a training session. Please have someone other than Angel C give me a call back!

The first time Angel C. called me on August 8 at 12:04PM we had discussed to have Angel call me back at 3PM on the same day of August 8th. Angel C. did not follow through with our appointment and I haven't heard back from him. Now on August 3rd he was late to call! 9 am was our appointment and he called at 9:05 Please assign someone else from your team that understands customer service!!

Repeated charges that are not in my area

I have put my location services as 25 miles from my ZIP Code and have put in location preferences. I will get a charge for a direct lead in California and in Virginia and I live in Florida. This has happened several times and calling customer service is ridiculously worse than ever. Their voicemail response is that there employees are in training so they can't call you back. They are taking your money regardless of preferences you've put in place.
