Thumbtack app times out before Contractor can respond.

Customers do not even read the response half the time.

There is no way to verify if the customer is real or someone from Thumbtack just selling a fictitious name to the Contractor.

There is no way to even contact the customer after you buy the lead, unless the customer includes his phone number, which is not required and does not appear on 80% of the leads.

If you have a problem with a customer or lead, there is no one to call about it.

Thumbtacks "support line" is a recording that puts you on hold for a half hour, or more, who knows since you end up hanging up with no help.

The cost of getting a customer ends up being a lot of lost time and a true cost of $45 per verifiable lead.
