No customer service oriented

This is Company is in business to take peoples money and not deliver the best customer service. They made it very difficult for me to get in touch with customer services to close my account, unsubscribe from marketing emails, and cancel monthly fees as a pro. I dont like their website doesnt offer a phone number. I had to get their customer service phone number from Google. I was directed to text rather then calling which was inconvenient in my opinion.

Thumbtack - Allowed a provider to take advantage of me
Had a dispute with a provider. At first Thumbtack's " Trust and Safety" Team appeared to show an interest in helping me resolve the dispute but it was all smoke and mirrors. At the end of the day they absolve themselves of all responsibility. I paid a company $600 they would not refund for reasons already complained anout to Thumbtack. They will side with their providers. I had to hire a lawyer

This company has a license to steal and nobody can do anything about

This company has a license to steal and nobody can do anything about it I keep getting what seems to me to be fake leads they will charge me for a lead that will not reply, and it won't even get looked at because you can tell when the customer looks at your lead these dont even get looked at, and I still got a pay for them, I'm almost sure that these are fake leads just for them to make money

User's recommendation: I do not recommend Thumbtack to any professional unless you want to give money away.

Charged was charged $31 for 1 small contact. No response either.

I was charged $31.14 for a lead that is less than 1,000 sqft & only once a month. The person never even responded. I need a refund on this one, or I will not use Thumbtack again.

Account issue

Thumbtack has deactivated my account they said it was because I am linked to badger underground but I have no association with that company there should be no reason why my account got deactivated and every time I try they are no help my account is still deactivated they keep saying there is nothing they can do.

Need to talk about my account

I need to talk to somebody about my account they keep sending me jobs that are direct vent gas fireplace jobs and I told them I cannot do those particular type of jobs but they're still charging me for direct leads and sending them.

To get a refund for prepaid package that has not given any leads

Thumbtack did not make it clear that if you purchase a package for leads (Thumbtack Pro) there is no refund. So what a waste of money! And I have asked multiple times for help from Thumbtack and acknowledge my business is challenging to find leads which is why I signed up for Thumbtack. Super disappointed but not much I can do
