Absolute horrible lead generating process. Zero prequalifications to waste contractors time and money, clients dont even have to provide there contact info, and thumbtack thinks every concrete lead is high value and nails you to the wall in costs over there barely a quiery of a lead

I have been over charged for a lead. And have spent one hour trying to contact thumbtack customer service. All you get is computer customer service. You cant talk to anyone. Its terrible, they have no problem taking your money for a lead but they wont even talk to you to explain why I was charged so much! I dont know how they get away with this.I would give zero stars if it was a option.

There is person to person contact . Ive emailed 3 times with no response! I was charged for three leads that never even responded to me. Why should I pay for that. And there is none to talk to from the company

Terrible customer service.
I have been struggling with your lead charging system. I have been hired only 4 times yet I have been charged for over 50 leads in the calendar year. Lets do some simple math. If the average cost of the leads is say 15$, and Ive been hired 4 times. How much money have you taken from me as opposed to the amount of money Ive made from you? Its flat out robbery. This is crooked and crippling me.

You guys having been taking money from me , by having me pay for leads I shouldnt be getting charged for. And I just want my money back before I put more money on this site. This is a good site to get money on but I dont like you guys taking my money either. Please respond as soon as possible.

I signed up for your services 3 days ago gave you my credit card information, you took the money, and you are asking me to do the same process again. I called you guys and cant talk to no one, just a recording that tells me if I want to talk to customer service to hit 2, I hit 2 and it kept repeating the same thing. Said if I want to text to hit 1, I hit 1 and said you would send me a text and the text never came. The process in trying to talk with someone to terrible.

Paid for lead that does fit me.. 110.00 out of account. I'm not happy at all. They keep taking money out of two accounts I have for thumbtack. 110.00 out for buffing floors.... I don't buff floors or have machine to buff floors like they wanted. They been taking alot of money out of accounts and not getting hired for job. At first it was 9 or 20 dollars. Now it's 50 dollars and above. I set my preference at 60.00. They take more then that

I was over paying and when I did talk to someone they said if you didn’t get hired they will refund my money and it has never happened

I had paid for something, and they never hired me and I want my money back, and I feel like they get over on you by not paying back because the customer never hired you and I should be getting almost $600 back its like every single job I tried to bid on they never hired me and I kept getting charged to bid again. They are horrible Have no criteria to select the customers Majority of the people have no idea what they gonna do and dont have the money for They keep charge you out of the budget they tell you to set up I dont recommend for anyone
