Total distrust and loyalty for there pros.

I have been in my trade for more than 26 years and I signed up with thumbtack as a platform to get more work because they are in fact a lead generation service. I started out, and I got 12 five-star reviews and customers raved about our service. Are 13 client was one of those types of people that before you even step foot on their project had an agenda to somehow screw you out of money even if the work was impeccably done. A dispute was filed with the customer to thumbtack and wanted a $1,100 refund after we completed the project with the utmost quality craftsmanship and decency to the client, and thumbtack back the client 100%. I heard that thumbtack was like this that they had no alliance to their pros, so I strongly suggest that you do not use that lead generating platform. I promise you the first client that is like the one I described above your thousands of dollars spent with thumbtack will be spent in vain. Yours in business to my fellow subcontractors and contractors. disgruntled

Pros on thumbtack treated unfairly

Discuss billing

I need to start making connections with My leads but its not clear how their billing is set up. I do not know why I should pay for a leas for $89 if the less needs my services. I need this yung resolved ASAP because business as usual needs to start. The leads keep coming very aggressively. Theres no one to answer my questions. They are closed over the holiday. It sucks yo he getting voicemail from customer support.

Ive been working through thumbtack for the past 6 years. Honestly it was great the first 2 years but as their company grew so did the fake leads and their fees! Their refund policy is basically non-existant. Their prices went up during the pandemic. I am paying more...
